FAQ

  • Who does Resilient Horizons work with?

We work with organisations of all sizes, from small charities and local authorities to private landowners, estates, and large corporates. Whether you’re a heritage trust, a council, or a business looking to strengthen climate resilience, we tailor our services to fit your organisation.

  • What sectors do you have experience in?

Our cross-sector experience allows us to bring fresh, practical solutions. We’ve worked across:

Financial Services — helping banks, insurers, and asset managers respond to climate-related disclosure requirements (ISSB, TCFD, CSRD) and integrate climate risk into governance, reporting, and investment decisions.

Heritage & the Arts — supporting historic estates, theatre organisations, and cultural charities with sustainability and resilience strategies.

Environment & Nature — partnering with conservation charities, environmental NGOs, and land managers to embed climate resilience and biodiversity.

Energy & Infrastructure — delivering renewable energy development projects and advising on low-carbon transition pathways.

Housing & Development — helping housing providers and developers integrate sustainability standards into planning and design.

Charity & Governance — guiding third sector organisations through governance, charity law, and long-term resilience planning.

  • How do you price your services?

We provide clear, set prices for each service package, so you know exactly what you’re getting from the start. There are no hidden costs — just transparent, upfront pricing designed to give you confidence and clarity.

  • Do you only work in the UK?

No. While much of our work is UK-based, we also support clients in Ireland and the United States. Our approach is flexible and adaptable, making it easy to apply across different geographies and organisational contexts.

  • Can smaller organisations afford your services?

Yes. Many of our clients are small charities, local groups, or single-site organisations. Our packages are designed to be accessible and cost-effective, ensuring that climate resilience and sustainability strategy aren’t just for large institutions.

  • What makes Resilient Horizons different from other sustainability consultancies?

We combine technical expertise with sector-specific governance insight. That means we don’t just write strategies — we help you implement them in ways that are legally sound, financially viable, and culturally appropriate for your organisation. Our cross-sector background also lets us bring in ideas that others might miss.

  • What if we’re not sure what service we need?

That’s completely normal. Many clients come to us with a challenge rather than a defined project brief. We’ll start with a discovery conversation to understand your goals, then recommend the best-fit package for your needs and budget.

  • How do you help organisations meet climate reporting requirements?

We support organisations with frameworks such as ISSB, TCFD, and CSRD, translating technical reporting requirements into clear, practical steps. Our approach ensures compliance while also building resilience and value for your organisation.

  • Do you provide training as well as consultancy?

Yes. We regularly run board-level workshops, staff training, and stakeholder sessions to build understanding and embed resilience into organisational culture.

  • How quickly can we start working together?

We can usually begin with an initial discovery call within two weeks. From there, timelines depend on the package you choose. For example, a climate risk workshop can be delivered in a matter of weeks, while a full resilience strategy may take several months.
